NEWDEAL NAAF® is a solid airfield deicer that meets the FAA requirements of AC 150/5200-30 for commercial and military airfield use. The product is blend of sodium formate and sodium acetate designed to capture the advantages of both chemicals. Compared to liquid deicer, NEWDEAL NAAF® is more effective on packed snow and ice because the individual pellets penetrate down to pavement surface. Compared to urea, NEWDEAL NAAF® performs better under lower temperatures and is more environmentally friendly. It remains effective to 0°F (-18°C).
